Job Description: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a museum
professional to join the management team of Glasgow Museums, the
largest civic museum service in the UK. The Conservation and
Programming Manager will manage the conservation section ensuring
continued collection care of over 1 million objects displayed and
stored across 10 venues. The post-holder will also coordinate
overall programming and related procedures across the service.

With an ambitious public programme and capital projects in
development this post represents a real opportunity for personal
development while contributing to the development and delivery of
services to 3 million visitors annually.

Educated to degree level and with experience of managing complex
projects and programmes of work the successful candidate will have
the capacity to implement and drive forward the remit of the post.
