Subject: Position at St. Seraphim's Trust
Project conservator St Seraphim's Trust St Seraphim's Trust requires a Project Conservator for its icons and we are working with the Heritage Lottery Fund. The iconography project conservator would manage the process of interventive conservation, to include sourcing and possibly briefing/specifying for appropriate conservators, agreeing treatment proposals, checking on progress and ensuring treatment reports are provided. Conservators will be invited to make a preliminary visit to St Seraphim's chapel to view the collection, the site and discuss options. Conservators will be required to give their qualifications, experience and where possible examples of work they have undertaken of a similar nature. Conservators will be required to submit letters confirming that the brief has been understood and describe how they will approach and plan this project.
