Gabo Trust for Sculpture Conservation funding support to attend IIC 2012 Vienna Congress Building on the success of funding support from the Gabo Trust for Sculpture Conservation related to the 2010 Istanbul Congress, IIC again welcomes their participation at the 2012 IIC Congress in Vienna. For the 2012 IIC Congress the Gabo Trust is offering grant support of up to UKP1,000 each to a maximum of three individuals with experience in the conservation of modern and contemporary sculpture, to both IIC members and non-members, towards the cost of attending the Congress. These grants are not available to students. Criteria for selection will include: The current involvement in or association of the applicant with modern and contemporary sculpture The relevance of the Congress theme to her/his current work The potential benefit to her/his career The potential benefit to conservation of cultural heritage in her/his country Applications will be accepted by post, fax or email to the IIC office in London (see contact details below) and should be received by the 31 July 2012. Successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified as soon as a decision has been made. Applicants will be contacted within two weeks of the closing date. Successful applicants will be informed of the arrangements for payment.
