Gabo Trust for Sculpture Conservation funding support to attend IIC
2012 Vienna Congress

Building on the success of funding support from the Gabo Trust for
Sculpture Conservation related to the 2010 Istanbul Congress, IIC
again welcomes their participation at the 2012 IIC Congress in
Vienna. For the 2012 IIC Congress the Gabo Trust is offering grant
support of up to UKP1,000 each to a maximum of three individuals
with experience in the conservation of modern and contemporary
sculpture, to both IIC members and non-members, towards the cost of
attending the Congress. These grants are not available to students.

Criteria for selection will include:

The current involvement in or association of the applicant with
    modern and contemporary sculpture

The relevance of the Congress theme to her/his current work

The potential benefit to her/his career

The potential benefit to conservation of cultural heritage in
    her/his country

Applications will be accepted by post, fax or email to the IIC
office in London (see contact details below) and should be received
by the 31 July 2012.

Successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified as soon as a
decision has been made. Applicants will be contacted within two
weeks of the closing date.

Successful applicants will be informed of the arrangements for
payment.
