Anne Bacon, Course Leader at the Gateshead/Newcastle Conservation
Course retired in the summer of 2009 and at that time there wasn't
the opportunity to organise a retirement party. So we would like to
announce the delayed retirement party for Anne Bacon.  Moreover, the
occasion has been expanded to combine it with a reunion for all
students who studied with her at Gateshead and whom she has taught
over the years.

The organising team have been contacting people directly about this
event over the past few months, but we realise that contacts have
fragmented somewhat and hope to spread the word to the widest
possible audience. So if you know Anne Bacon and wish to join her
retirement celebration or indeed you are a graduate of the above
course please consider joining us and pass the details onto any
contacts/friends/colleagues who either know Anne or who also
graduated from the College.

The event will be held on Saturday 30 June 2012 at Deneholme
Residential Conference and Activity Centre (The Dene, Allendale,
Hexham Northumberland, NE47 9PX).

Tickets UKP25 includes hot / cold buffet.  Any particular dietary
needs, veggie etc. let Norma or Jim know

Accommodation Details: Deneholme has 11 newly refurbished bedrooms -
accommodating up to 36 guests on a first come first served basis.
UKP30 per night which includes breakfast.

Hexham is only 12 miles away with hotels and B/B's and the bus
service 688 stops opposite Deneholme. Please check timetable online.
Taxi service is available from Deneholme and local taxi service
Baynes Taxis.

For the intrepid, there is an adjoining field for campers (with
water and toilets UKP2 a night and an additional charge of UKP5 for
breakfast at Deneholme if required.
