Teacher: Dr. Sheila Siegler

The Campbell Center for Historic Preservation Studies is hosting the
workshop "Introduction to Organic Chemistry" on July 25-28, 2012.
The tuition is $900 and includes lodging and most meals. $300 FAIC
scholarships for AIC members are still available.  The workshop is
being taught Dr. Sheila Siegler, Organic Chemist and Paper
Conservator in private practice. This course will include a
combination of lectures, discussion and hands-on labs. Topics will
include bonding and structure, functional groups, acids and bases,
polymers, paper chemistry and textile chemistry.
