We are seeking an experienced paintings conservator to work within
our Paintings and Frames Conservation team in support of Loans Out
and Tate Liverpool programme areas. Day-to-day, you will concentrate
on assessing, preparing and treating works of art within the
Collection and on supporting all related programme activity.

You will hold a recognised qualification in Paintings Conservation
with demonstrable practical experience.   It is essential to have
analytical and problem-solving skills, organisational,
time-management and planning skills, and to be an effective
communicator. You will need to be able to work independently on
conservation treatments and provide specialist advice for storage,
transport and installation of works of art.    Travel is required
for this role as well as flexibility around working hours and good
end-user IT skills.
