There have been few opportunities to bring together these diverse topics to illuminate the subject: History and connections Historic and contemporary objects Trade between east and west Techniques and materials Conservation We are calling for contributions as academic papers, reviews of work, demonstrations etc. The conference will be of interest to private collectors, curators, conservators and historians.
