Call for Papers
Western Association for Art Conservation, 2012.

The Western Association for Art Conservation (WAAC) is accepting
proposals for talks to be presented at the Annual Meeting: October
22-25, 2012, Palm Springs, CA.

We are seeking exciting and thought provoking papers in all areas of
conservation and related fields, we're particular interested in
papers that push the boundaries and challenge the profession to
re/consider roles, responsibilities, techniques, and ideas.

This year we are seeking to develop a section of the conference
focused upon the care and conservation of so-called 'ethnographic
collections', of particular interest will be papers that draw from
the region in which the conference is being held, and/or draw upon
the personal background(s) of the authors.

Please keep in mind that sessions at the meeting will be 20 minutes
in length. However, suggestions for multi-session panels,
incorporating multiple speakers, will also be welcomed.
