Conservation internship Judd Foundation Marfa, Texas The Judd Foundation <URL:http://www.juddfoundation.org> is a non-profit organization whose mission is to maintain and preserve the late artist Donald Judd's (1928-1994) permanently installed living and working spaces, libraries, and archives in New York and Marfa, Texas. The Marfa office is looking for a conservation intern to assist the conservator for 8-12 weeks between June-September 2012. The intern will work under supervision of the conservator. The intern's activities will include maintenance of the collection, environmental monitoring, research and treatment of objects and preparation of garments for display. The candidate should be currently enrolled in a Conservation Training Program or have a minimum of one year of experience in a conservation studio. The candidate should be willing to live in a small rural southwest Texas town for the period of the fellowship. Housing will be provided for the duration of the internship.
