Evapo-rust

Our large technology workshop has recently approached me to get my
opinion about using a proprietary rust removal product called
"Evapo-rust". The company website
<URL:http://www.evaporust.com/evaporust.html?gclid=CPqhoOncy64CFQKEhwodGl3DBw>
describes the product as being pH 6-7 and as a full replacement to
caustic and acid rust removal products.

It purports to remove rust while leaving paint, aluminium, brass,
plastics, rubber, chrome and non-oxide coatings unaffected. It is
also described as non-hazardous, non-toxic, non-flammable and as
posing no environmental or health hazards. It seems to consist of a
chelating agent and a sulphur containing compound; the MSDS gives no
further details.

I wondered if anyone has had experience with this product? I've
approached a colleague to test it to find out the exact nature of
the chemicals, but would be interested to hear anecdotes about use
of this product.
