Papermaking study trip to China

The Educational Study Trip V in China
19-30 August 2012

The 5th Educational Study Trip will be taken place in later August
2012. The destination of the 12-day trip is Shaanxi and Anhui
Provinces in China. This will be second China Trip since we've
started organizing the trips in 2008.

his year it will cover from the origin of papermaking (papermaking
inventor Cai Lun's tomb and the oldest paper fragment from the
Western Han Dynasty 206BC-8AD) to the traditional Chinese Xuan
paper, which has been used for calligraphy, painting, and scroll
mounting.
