Laser tag

Students at my college are planning to set up a game of laser tag in
a hall that houses a series of oil portraits about 10 feet above the
floor. I suspect there is no danger to the paintings but a nagging
doubt remains. Does anyone know if the light from the 'guns' might
cause harm to paintings?
