The State Library of Western Australia seeks to enrich the lives of
Western Australians by enabling access to resources for information,
learning, enterprise and recreation; and collecting and preserving
our social and documentary heritage for current and future
generations.

We are currently seeking an experienced Paper Conservator to join a
dedicated conservation team.

Conditions: This is a full-time, permanent position. Consideration
will be given to part-time working arrangements and job share.

A current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate
will be required prior to commencement of employment, as per the
Department of Culture and the Arts Police Record Screening Policy.

Job Description: The key responsibilities of this role are to
undertake conservation treatments for a range of paper based items
including maps, photographs, art on paper etc, contribute to
preventative and outreach activities and to provide advice at
treatment level and program (risk management) level.

Work Related Requirements:

To be considered for this role you must provide:

    A current CV;

    A four A4 page (maximum) document that clearly demonstrates that
    you meet all of the Essential Work Related Requirements that are
    listed on the attached Job Description Form; and
