Summer Internship in Objects Conservation Lunder Conservation Center Smithsonian American Art Museum The Smithsonian American Art Museum's Lunder Conservation Center in Washington, D.C. will host a summer intern in Objects Conservation for the academic year September 2012-August 2013. This position is for a conservation graduate student currently enrolled in a training program. The unfunded position will provide a rich internship experience comprising examination and treatment of a wide range of media from the 19th-21st century. In addition, the intern will gain experience with practical application of climate and micro-climate monitoring, pest control and identification, public outreach and many other conservation practices.
