Subject: Icon Ceramics and Glass Group conference
Booking is now open for the next CGG conference The vibrant former European Capital of Culture Liverpool will play host to the conference from 15-16 June 2012. We will be celebrating the long anticipated opening of the new Museum of Liverpool on the dockside. Delegates will be treated to a series of presentations on materials and techniques used for ceramics and glass conservation. Hopefully delegates will be introduced to exciting products and techniques they haven't seen before as well as being given innovative uses for some of the more common materials. There will also be an opportunity to discover more about Liverpool's rich and varied cultural history and time to explore hidden gems. We shall also be hosting pre registration drinks on the Thursday evening before the start of the conference as well as a conference dinner on the Friday evening, giving delegates a chance to network in a relaxed atmosphere.
