The Washington Conservation Guild presents the fifth meeting of the 2011/2012 season Please join us Thursday, February 2, 2012 for a return visit to the Georgetown Public Library. The Library was devastated by a fire in 2007. Many WCG members helped with collections recovery of items from the Peabody Room, which housed the Library's Special Collections. The Library re-opened in 2010. Please join us for a tour of the new building and an opportunity to see the collections in their newly restored home. The meeting will be held at the Georgetown Branch of the DC Public Library 3260 R St. NW Washington DC 20007 Reception 5 pm Tour of the Peabody Room 6 pm The closest Metro is Dupont Circle (Red Line) the D6 bus goes near the library.
