2nd International Conference on Chemistry for Cultural Heritage
Istanbul, Turkey
July 9-12, 2012

The 2nd International Congress on "Chemistry for Cultural Heritage"
is now accepting abstracts for its upcoming meeting in Istanbul,

<URL:http://www.chemch2012.org>

This English language conference will cover diverse topics in
conservation, technical art history, and archeology. Although
abstracts are accepted in all fields of cultural heritage analysis,
specific areas of interest include environmental transformations of
cultural heritage, development and evaluation of cleaning
strategies, modern materials and techniques for their conservation,
the development and application of novel instrumental methods,
studies in ancient technologies and materials, conservation in
natural history museums, and education and training in conservation
and conservation science.

The conference also offers the opportunity to explore one of the
world's richest areas of material culture in a city where two
continents meet! An active social agenda will accompany the
conference with site visits to many of Istanbul's most important
cultural landmarks and museums.

On behalf of the international organizing committee, we thank you
for your contributions and look forward to a stimulating congress.
