Plowden and Smith Ltd. seek a senior metalwork conservator/restorer
to work based at their London workshops.  There would be the
opportunity to travel.

The successful candidate would be confident to work independently
and to lead a team on larger projects.  They would have a minimum of
5 years experience following a recognized qualification and,
ideally, have proven abilities for all of the following:

    Cleaning and conservation of cultural items
    Patination of metals
    Fabrication of items of differing metals
    Welding and braising
    Fine hand skills

Remuneration is dependent upon experience
