6 months with possible extension (maternity cover)
Based at Kensington Palace
Historic Royal Palaces

The key responsibilities of this established role will comprise
carrying out hands-on collection care and safeguarding routines,
including cleaning the collection and protecting it during
commercial events, filming and construction.  In addition, you will
be a member of the team responsible for environmental monitoring and
analysis, pest control management, condition tracking and exhibition
work.  This role contributes to the initiatives of explaining our
conservation work to the public.

You will have a recognised conservation qualification or equivalent,
wishing to build on your knowledge of preventive conservation by
gaining practical experience working in a delicate heritage
environment.  Both independently and as a strong team player, you
will be motivated to achieve goals by working closely with your
colleagues in a reactive environment.

This position will be based at Kensington Palace; however there will
also be a requirement to work from other palaces (Tower of London,
Kew Palace, Banqueting House Whitehall and Hampton Court Palace).
Additionally, hours of work may include early mornings, evenings and
weekends.  The ability to work at heights is essential.
