Objects Conservator Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum This position is located in the Conservation Unit of the National Air and Space Museum, Smithsonian Institution. The Conservation Unit is responsible for providing treatment, conservation assessments and environmental monitoring for a diverse collection of over 60,000 artifacts. Responsibilities also include staff training, and technical advice on collections care issues. Note: The employee will be temporarily located in Suitland, MD and will change to the Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA in the coming year.
