The December 2011 issue of News in Conservation is out and ready to be downloaded. Published six times per year, News is Conservation is the newspaper from the International Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works. This issue is packed full of news from the world, together with interesting features contributed by our generous community. In this issue, Antonina Pirrotta from Italy will introduce us to the use of advanced monitoring technologies employed by her team for the preservation of an ancient statue of the Virgin Mary. We will also learn about the Romiri Project, a multidisciplinary workshop that took place on the island of Zakynthos (Greece) in early Autumn. The notice for the IIC Annual General Meeting with the profile of the candidates standing for election is also included, together with an outline of the public talk that will follow the meeting.
