Icon Internship in Conservation of Arms and Armour
Royal Armouries, Leeds
12 months, April 2012 - April 2013
with an educational bursary of UKP15,750 pa

Based in the Armouries Conservation Dept with Suzanne Dalewicz-Kitto
ACR as supervisor, this Internship focuses on general conservation
practice plus more specifically the conservation of both European
and Oriental armour and of firearms from one of the largest and most
significant collections of arms and armour in the world. A recent,
recognised qualification in objects conservation is essential for
this internship. Experience with archaeological material as part of
that qualification or through work experience to an equivalent level
of understanding and practice is desirable. For further information
