Project Conservator, Caring for Kenwood English Heritage The Caring for Kenwood building project is taking place from Autumn 2011 until Autumn 2013. The project involves building work to the service wing and the main house as well as subsequent representation of the interiors. Working as part of the collections conservation team, you will work to plan, manage and undertake the care and conservation of the fine art collections located at Kenwood House as they are decanted into storage during the Caring for Kenwood Project. Working as a member of the project team, the role will include condition reporting, packing and first aid conservation, as well as liaising with the wider project team and other contractors on collections conservation matters. You will have a recognised qualification in conservation. The ability to work both independently and as part of a busy team is essential. This post is fixed term for an initial 6 months, with the possibility of a further 12 months extension.
