Internship in Book Conservation

A six-month internship in book conservation is offered in the Royal
Library, Windsor Castle.

Internship placement subsistence: UKP12,500 per annum pro rata, plus
training and benefits Hours of work: 35 hours per week, over 5 days
Contract Type: Fixed-term Position start date: 9 January 2012

We are currently looking for a book conservation intern to work with
our Paper Conservation team at Windsor Castle. The Paper
Conservation team conserves books, manuscripts, works of art on
paper, maps and plans, photographs, fans and other paper-related
items from the Royal Collection and Royal Archives. The book
conservation intern will gain hands-on experience of the skills
involved in the conservation and preservation of books from the
Royal Collection.

enthusiastic approach and a methodical, organised approach to work;
