There is no cost for the workshop.

This workshop is open to archivists, librarians, conservators and
photographers interested in the care of twentieth-century
photographic materials

The course schedule will be Thursday through Friday 8am - 5pm

The purpose of this workshop is to learn how to properly preserve
twentieth-century Photographic Materials in libraries, archives and
private collections. Participants will learn how the environment
conditions affects the material and the damages that occurs because
of bad handling and storage conditions. As an important issue, they
will learn how to make a condition report and how to make basic
environmental measurements, in order to implement preventive actions
over collections

Requirements for participants: Participants should ask for a
questionnaire to oeussego<-a t->banrep< . >gov< . >co and then send it to
oeussego<-a t->banrep< . >gov< . >co and/or magaravitop<-a t->gmail< . >com in order to
determine the level of knowledge and experience of each person.

Pre-registrations will be accepted until October 5, 2011

Due to the hands-on nature of this workshop, the number of
participants will be limited to 25.
