Senior Management Team Designated for the Harvard Library

In December 2010, Harvard University embraced a series of
recommendations for the future of the Harvard Library system.
Ultimately, the University seeks to build the hallmark library of
the 21st century, a cutting-edge, nimble organization that is
collaborative both internally and externally. Since then, Harvard
has designated both the governance and the senior leadership team
for the new Harvard Library.

On December 10, 2010, President Drew Faust announced the names of
the first 10 individuals who will serve on the new Harvard Library
Board. Composed of faculty members and administrators from across
the University, the board will oversee the transition of the
University's vast library system to a coordinated management
structure.

Director of the new Harvard Library.

and Library Services at Harvard Business School (HBS), was named
Senior Associate Provost for the Harvard Library. Kennedy will
provide oversight for the complex transition of Harvard's highly
decentralized library system.
