Event 56: Exploring new archaeological worlds

This year the British Science Festival is being hosted by the
University of Bradford.  Amongst the highlights of the festival,
there will be an opportunity to experience some of the latest
developments in imaging techniques for archaeology at the Department
of Archaeological Sciences.

Exhibitions and demonstrations will include

    Real-time, interactive 3D computer visualisation
    High resolution 3D laser scanning of objects
    The Olympus laser scanning confocal microscope (LEXT)
    Digital capture (CR) for X-radiography

demonstration for conservators and other heritage professionals of
