Full-Time, Term appointment for 13 months.  This appointment may be
extended up to four years. Federal

This position is located in Conservation Laboratory of the National
Portrait Gallery. The incumbent would work independently in the
Lunder Conservation Laboratory under the supervision of the paper
conservator performing conservation examinations and treatments at
the highest level of technical competence. The employee is
responsible for advising staff members on exhibition, storage,
framing, packing, shipment and environmental problems which affect
the physical condition of photographic images and their
preservation.
