Fujifilm FinePix S3 Pro

Has anyone any experience of using a Fujifilm FinePix S3 Pro UVIR
UV and IR for recording? (See review:

We are considering purchasing one and would like to hear of other
conservators experience in this area first.

I have found some reference to conservators using one for recording
paintings.  It seems to no longer to be made but is still available.
It does not appear on the Fuji site but if you contact them they
send you a disclaimer notice to sign.  You must promise only to use
it for the good of mankind and not terrorist purposes. It is well
known that bad guys don't lie.

If there are any conservators out there who have used one (for good)
I would be very interested.
