Salary UKP28,337-UKP32,799 per annum depending on knowledge, skills
and experience.

Job description: Working with the Senior Collections Conservator
(Fine Art) as part of the collections conservation team, you will
assist with the documentation, conservation and restoration of
English Heritage's national collection of around 2000 paintings,
frames and gilded furniture, displayed at 30 sites around the
country.

Based at Rangers House you will undertake the treatment of easel
paintings to the highest standards. Working on site around the
country, you will assist with auditing collections, as well as
undertaking preventive conservation measures where necessary.

You will have a qualification in the Conservation of Easel Paintings
from a recognised training course. The ability to work both
independently and as part of a busy team will be essential.

This post is maternity cover for an initial 9 months, with the
possibility of a further 3 months extension.
