Plowden and Smith Ltd. have a vacancy for an experienced qualified
conservator/restorer to lead the Paintings Department.  Experience
in a commercial working environment is essential following
graduation in a recognised qualification.  The successful applicant
would be able to estimate for paintings restoration and projects and
lead them where teamwork is required.  They should be prepared to
work with a wide range of materials and painting techniques, possess
good manual skills and be happy to take on a challenge.  Experience
of collections management could be an advantage. The head of this
department must also be prepared to work abroad.

Remuneration: dependent upon experience (Minimum UKP30.000 for an
accredited conservator).
