This workshop is open to conservators and photographers interested
in the care and development of nineteenth-century photographic
processes.

The course schedule will be Monday through Friday, 6-9 pm (daily
completion time depends on the state of the process)

The purpose of this workshop is to learn about the 19th century
photographic process known as salted paper. Participants will learn
how to prepare chemical solutions for the salted paper process,
along with an induction to explain the theoretical principles of the
chemical process. They will also learn different ways of preparing
and sensitize the papers and how to care for this process. During
the sessions of the workshop instructors will discuss the
preservation of salted paper photographs.

Requirements for participants: Participants should send his/her C.V.
and a portfolio to talleresdefotografos<-a t->gmail< . >com summarized in
order to determine the level of knowledge and experience of each
person. The workshop reserves the right to refuse admission.

Pre-registrations will be accepted until May 9, 2011

Depending on the response and the availability of participants other
work schedules will be taking into consideration.

The registration fee for this 5-day workshop is $300.000 COP

Due to the hands-on nature of this workshop, the number of
participants will be limited to 6.
