Short courses on care and conservation of public artworks

Can anyone recommend a short course for arts workers, curators and
public art managers on the topic of 'care and/or preventive
maintenance of art and heritage works in the public domain'.

I am a public art project manager with a collections management (not
conservation) background currently working with public art
collections for local government.

My role includes undertaking condition assessments, documentation
and basic preventive maintenance recommendations for artworks
located in the public domain.  I'd like to build some skills in
basic materials conservation (for public artworks) and preventive
maintenance.

No such course exists in Australia. Any advice would be gratefully
received.
