The Archaeology Group will be visiting Birmingham Museum and Art
Gallery to see the Staffordshire Hoard. This is an exciting
opportunity to visit the conservation laboratory to see some of the
hoard and hear about the conservation work being undertaken. There
will also be the opportunity to see a selection of the hoard on
display in the museum.

This is an ICON member only event. Places are limited so please book
early.

Cost: The AGM is free to attend (Archaeology Group members only)

Visit to Staffordshire Hoard: UKP15 (members) UKP12 (students). This
includes refreshments and lunch. At least UKP5 of your registration
fee will go towards a donation to the Staffordshire Hoard
conservation fund.

The Archaeology Group are offering 6 free places: 5 student places
and 1 place to a conservator to assist their continuing professional
development (CPD). All places will be offered on a first come first
served basis with either proof of student status or a statement on
how this contributes to CPD.
