Subject: Course on fiberglass sought

I have never seen any conservation >courses offered on this material ... The American Institute for Conservation (AIC) is holding its second workshop on the Conservation of Outdoor Sculpture in Washington DC October 18-21, 2011. More information is available on the AIC website. The course is designed for mid-career conservators and its content focuses on a broad array of issues and materials, including fiberglass and derivatives of resin composites. The course is also designed to be flexible so that participants may bring their own issues to the table for further discussion among other participants and instructors/presenters. While this may not be the requested course on "fiberglass", it may prove to be a useful resource for improving how we approach the challenges of materials and how they perform in exterior conditions. (My own nickname for the course is "beyond wash and wax".) Hope this helps.
