The PAIR (Pole d'Archeologie Interdepartemental Rhenan)

specialized in archaeological conservation

This is a full time job (35h/week) in an archaeological regional
centre (in central Alsace, north-east of France). The period is for
one year and may run again for 1 or 2 years.

The conservation lab is a three-person team project, treating all
kind of materials and artefacts from rescue excavations, with a
close collaboration with the collections director and all the
archaeologists of the centre.  Applicants must have a Master's
degree from a recognized graduate conservation training program and
have working knowledge in French.
