PE-30 polyethylene foam

Has anyone used a foam called PE-30 polyethylene Auto foam for long
term use with collection material?

Our usual supplier of Ethafoam claimed that PE-30 would perform
equally well and has sold us some of this product.  I am nervous
about using it to pad out storage boxes with collection material. We
undertook an Oddy test on a sample and the results did not show any
drastic change to the metal coupons.

Can anyone else offer any information about this product and its
safety for use with collection material?
