Delamination of PVC film

A survey of the National Library of Ireland's 1920's - 1930's
Ephemera collections, highlighted the requirement to treat a group
of posters which had been laminated between clear plastic supports.

FTIR analysis has confirmed that PVC was used in all cases. The
posters are printed in black ink onto a very thin unbleached paper.

I am exploring delamination options and would be keen to hear from
other conservators who have dealt with similar treatment issues. I
would be grateful for all and any information, suggestions and
recommendations.
