AICCM Textile Special Interest Group Symposium

The organizing Committee are pleased to announce that registration
for the AICCM Textile Special Interest Group 2011 symposium 'On the
Body' is open. Please join us from from at the National Gallery of
Australia in Canberra for an exciting program revolving around the
team 'On the Body'. The symposium theme is the conservation of
objects worn 'On the Body' with a session dedicated to the Ballet
Russes. Also included in the program is a 'Behind the Scenery'
guided walk-through of the exhibition Ballets Russes: The Art of
Costume led by the exhibition's conservators.
