Lighting Museums and Galleries is a one day conference aimed at
museum and gallery professionals. The programme has been designed to
suit a general audience including conservators, curators,
technicians, designers and front of house staff who play a role in
lighting. Speakers will address a variety of topics including the
basic principles of light, how different lighting affects perception
of objects, implementing and maintaining effective lighting plans
and exploration of lighting products currently on the market. This
event is supported by Renaissance in the Regions and ICON's
Collection Care Group. Deadline for bookings is Thursday 24
February. UKP60 + VAT per delegate (concessionary rate of UKP20 +
VAT per East of England museum delegate).
