Many experienced horologists, therefore, although knowledgeable and competent in repair and restoration, lack an understanding of the conservation approach to horology. Approved by the Institute of Conservation (Icon), this course is unique; being specially designed to bridge that knowledge gap and, in particular, prepare participants for PACR accreditation. Visiting tutors are: David Thompson FBHI, senior horological curator at the British Museum, Dr Michael Flannery MBHI, a recently-qualified ACR, and Susan Bradshaw ACR, Icon accreditation manager. Fully inclusive residential fee: From UKP492 For more information on these and all the courses in the CPD programme, please contact Liz Campbell at West Dean College +44 1243 818219 cpd<-a t->westdean< . >org< . >uk See also <URL:http://www.westdean.org.uk/College> Liz Campbell CPD Coordinator West Dean College West Dean Chichester West Sussex PO18 0QZ +44 1243 818219 Fax: +i44 1243 811343 *** Conservation DistList Instance 24:34 Distributed: Thursday, January 13, 2011 Message Id: cdl-24-34-020 ***Received on Thursday, 6 January, 2011
