Position at St Fagans

Social History Conservator (Temporary)
St Fagans: National History Museum

Contract:  Up to 12 months (maternity cover)
Salary:  UKP20,978 - UKP23,916 per annum (pro rata)

We are seeking to appoint a qualified conservator to care for the
extensive social history collections of the Amgueddfa Cymru -
National Museum Wales, held at St Fagans: National History Museum.

If appointed, you will work under the supervision of the Head of St
Fagans Conservation cleaning and conserving the collections, both on
display and in store, as part of an interdisciplinary team of
conservators.  The ability to work both alone and as part of a team
is essential.

You must hold a recognised conservation qualification.  Some
experience of working within the museum environment would be an
advantage.  The ability to speak Welsh, or the willingness to learn,
is desirable.
