Questionnaire on barkcloth conservation

This is a questionnaire regarding barkcloth conservation, related to
a Masters dissertation on a Hawaiian tapa, from the Quai Branly
Museum. This dissertation is at the National Institute for Heritage,
France <URL:http://www.inp.fr>

The purpose of this following questionnaire is to determine current
barkcloth conservation practices and the ideas behind the approaches
taken. Respondent confidentiality is assured. Institutions or
individuals will not be referred to in the evaluation of the
questionnaire results.

Question 1. How would you define the term "tapa"? According to you,
what does it refer to? How would you define barkcloth? Barkpaper?

Question 8. What are the most common barkcloth deterioration you
observed?

    Structural problems
    Chemical and physical problems
