Tate AXA Art Modern Paints Project (TAAMPP) Pioneering three-year project into acrylic-based paints: Findings announcement Tate and AXA Art Insurance Ltd invite you to a press breakfast at Tate Britain on Friday 30 October 2009 to reveal the findings of a pioneering three-year project into acrylic-based paints. Morning coffee will be served at 10am in the Rex Whistler restaurant, where you will be welcomed by Nigel Llewellyn, Head of Research at Tate and Dr Ulrich Guntram, Global CEO of AXA Art Insurance. You will then be invited to the Conservation Science Studio, Tate Britain, at 10.45am where Dr Bronwyn Ormsby, Senior Conservation Scientist at Tate, and Patricia Smithen, Head of Painting Conservation will provide an overview of the project in front of five Tate works which have been specially conserved as part of the project.
