Conference: The Conservation of Modern Materials in Applied Arts and Design Pinakothek der Moderne Munich, Germany October 22-23 2008 The conference is organised by the Conservation Department of Die Neue Sammlung, The International Design Museum Munich. The conference highlights the current state-of-the-art of scientific research in the conservation of modern materials. Its major focus being the conservation of design objects, an issue rather neglected until now.
