Invitation to the PROPAINT Final Seminar and Workshop

The consortium of the EU PROPAINT project is pleased to inform you
about the Final Seminar and Workshop which will be held November
20-21, 2009 at the National Museum in Krakow (Poland). After three
years of intensive and exciting collaborative work, the PROPAINT
consortium would like to present to the public the results obtained
concerning the protective effects of microclimate frames for
paintings and degradation of varnishes. The event will be a unique
opportunity to share our research experiences, results and create a
discussion forum to learn from and with our international
colleagues.

The Final Seminar will discuss the challenges and results achieved
in the PROPAINT project with emphasis on microclimate frames for
paintings, their design and the degradation of varnishes due to the
environment. During the PROPAINT workshop the participants will take
part in presentations, demonstrations and interactive activities
about the evaluation of the environment inside microclimate frames
for paintings, their design and the degradation of varnishes.

For the program of the seminar and additional information about
registration fee, contact details, deadlines or to acquire our
