The Doerner Institut

The Doerner Institut associated with Bayerische
Staatsgemaldesammlungen Munchen is seeking a Conservator for the
Alte Pinakothek. The position includes the maintenance, conservation
and documentation of the collections and the preparation and care of
loans and exhibitions. A diploma or master in conservation
(university or academy of arts) and several years of professional
experience preferably in a museum working with paintings from the
14th to 18th century are required. Proficient knowledge of German is
essential.

The permanent full time position is available from August 1, 2009.

Salary according to TVL E 13, conversion to civil service status is
possible.

15, 2009.
