In last ten years several works on conservation of wax tablets and
general research on wax mixtures were done in Poland, at Nicolaus
Copernicus University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Paper and Leather
Conservation Institute to be exact. No quite sure of published
material but general information about wax tablets they worked on
could be found at:
