Seminar on book conservation

Preliminary announcement of the Seminar: Boekrestauratie in beweging
(Book Conservation on the Move)

Thursday November 19, 2009 the Dutch Book Conservation Section of
'Restauratoren Nederland' organizes a seminar 'Boekrestauratie in
beweging. Ontwikkelingen in ethiek, techniek en materialen, (Book
Conservation on the Move. Developments in ethics, techniques and
materials'). This day is aimed at all those with a professional
interest in the use and care of books. Therefore conservators,
collection keepers, book collectors, antiquarian booksellers and
book historians are all very welcome. The language of this symposium
will be Dutch.

Late august the University Library in Leiden will mount an
exhibition on the same topic, accompanied by a publication.

will post an update with registration and program details in due
time.
