The Sculpture Center and The Intermuseum Conservation Association present an all day, public symposium "Form to Finish, Strategies in Outdoor Sculpture Preservation" at the Cleveland Museum of Art Saturday, April 25, 2009 9:30 am - 5 pm Form to Finish: Strategies in Outdoor Sculpture Preservation, an all day symposium, free and open to the public, will be held at The Cleveland Museum of Art's Recital Hall on Saturday, April 25 from 9:30 am - 5 pm, with a closing reception at The Sculpture Center. This symposium is provided for all those concerned about the preservation of our art treasures--stewards and owners of public monuments, art historians and students, collectors of outdoor sculpture, and the interested public. The symposium is the final event of Museums, the Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities of Case Western Reserve University year-long cultural forum of speakers. Pre-registration is recommended. This symposium is co-sponsored by the Department of Art History and Art and the Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities, Case Western Reserve University, The Sculpture Center, the Intermuseum Conservation Association, the Cleveland State University Art Department, and The Cleveland Museum of Art and organized by The Sculpture Center and the Intermuseum Conservation Association.
